Quantum Reiki Classes
Eva is a certified ‘Usui Shiki Ryoho’ Reiki Master & Instructor and is available for group and individual classes. She teaches all three levels of Reiki attunements.
Level 1 (The First Degree) is a practitioner’s initiation into Reiki and is open to anyone. The focus during Level 1 is in opening ones energy channels on a physical level, allowing the student to connect to the universal life force energy. Many Reiki Masters emphasize ‘self-Reiki’ as the goal of the Level 1 designation, which encourages students to focus on practicing Reiki on themselves, thereby working through their own obstacles.
Level 2 (The Second Degree) is often defined by a focus of practice on others, as well as an expanded opening of ones energy channels. Additionally each student receives the ‘Reiki symbols’ and the Level 2 attunement. These Reiki symbols allow the new practitioner to connect more deeply to the universal energy, as well as draw on the qualities that each symbol represents. This includes the ability to provide distance Reiki, or sending healing energy to individuals wherever they may be.
Level 3 (Third Degree & Reiki Master) is traditionally considered the teacher’s level which means a practitioner who has received the energy and knowledge to now attune new Reiki practitioners. Many receive the Master attunement, along with the corresponding symbol, yet don’t feel comfortable or practiced in properly attuning others – hence the distinction between Third Degree and Reiki Master. Becoming a Reiki Master represents a deep commitment to the Reiki practice.
More About Reiki
Reiki is a powerful Japanese healing technique using the hands that promotes stress reduction and relaxation. By using focusing techniques combined with reiki symbol application the practitioner can project the reiki healing energy through the palms of the hands. Although each practitioner’s methods may vary, the hands do not necessarily have to touch the client’s body. The reiki energy is sometimes discribed as feeling like heat or magnetic energy coming from the hands.
Although it is believed that the Reiki healing energy may have existed for 10,000 years or more (clues found in ancient texts originating in Tibet), it was most recently re-discovered and re-introduced in the mid 1800’s by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Christian scholar of religion.
